WELCOME TO IAMP'S AT JENNINGS!
Jennings Cafe opened its doors in 1958 by Omar Jennings Sr. He purchased Jennings after selling his previous fine dining restaurant called Pimlico Hotel. This establishment was located near the Pimlico race track. His son, Larry Jennings, was a horse trainer at Pimlico and several other tracks throughout the states. Horse racing is a part of the Jennings family tradition. Omar Sr. wanted to share with others his two favorite things, cooking and horse racing. He ran the business until 1965 when his son, Omar Jr., took over the reins. Omar Jr.’s son, Omar III, started working at the restaurant at a very young age and retired in 2017. He sold the restaurant to Steve Iampeiri, who had been a restaurant consultant for 20 years. It had been his life long dream to own his own restaurant, and he couldn't imagine working anywhere else other than the friendly town of Catonsville where he was raised.
Come experience Jennings Cafe and see why our family owned and operated has been in business for nearly 50 years. We offer fresh quality food with an extensive menu that will tantalize your palate, full-service bar with the coldest beer in town, and a friendly, casual atmosphere with an affordable price!
